Aims & Scope

Diwan International Scientific and Research Journal (DISRJ) aims to become a journal recognized for its qualified studies in Islamic sciences and preferred as a reference in Islamic Studies with the devoted efforts of young researchers and the contributions of expert academicians in the field.

Diwan also aims to contribute to sharing knowledge at national and international levels by publishing original research and high-quality papers in English, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, Pashto, and Uzbek languages in Islamic Studies.

Diwan was founded in 2020 by Jawzjan University, It publishes two issues in a year (twice a year) both in print and electronically. Diwan encourages and welcomes: reviews, editorials, and original research papers in the field of Islamic studies, written in the mentioned languages, without any geographic limitation. The target group of the Journal consists of academicians, professionals, students, related academic bodies, and institutions.

All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Team, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by at least two independent, anonymous referees with recognized competence within their field of research and by a Subject Editor appointed by the Editor-in-Chief. All peer review is double-blind, and submission is online via the online submission system or the direct email address of journal.diwan@ju.edu.af. All articles appear with both the dates of receipt and final acceptance and with the name of the Subject Editor.
