The Statement of Narrative Anecdote in Holy Quran

Abstract

The art of historiography is one of the wonderful aspects of holy Quran that most of the commandments and divine teaching are explained to audience through the stories. The holy Quran also focus on the stories as a means of learning and teaching for those of understanding. Therefore, it is essential to study and make research about historiography in the holy Quran for religious purposes. This article is looking for expressing the purpose of the story and its position in the holy Quran. Also, this research explains the main contents of the stories in the holy Quran as well as the method of storytelling. The importance of this research is explaining the divine teaching through the stories since understanding the contents of stories in the holy Quran, leads to a remarkable insight and understanding of holy Quran. Finally, it leads to an accurate understanding of the divine words.
