Adherence to Administrative Laws in the Light of Islamic Teachings in Higher Education Institutions

Abstract

Given that practical commitment to administrative laws constitutes the backbone of the service system; adherence to administrative laws in higher education institutions not only brings order and meritocracy to provide more services in the structure of modern offices for clients and beneficiaries; but also has a high position in religious teachings. Based on the findings, concepts such as; responsibility, justice, honesty and trustworthiness, creating order, planning, meritocracy, observing administrative ethics, initiative and action, avoiding corruption and betrayal; are among the values that have been emphasized in the Holy Quran and the tradition of the Prophet of Islam and the deeds of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and religious leaders, as adherence to these teachings directly corresponds to the observance and implementation of administrative laws. The present study aims to investigate the effect of Islamic teachings on strengthening adherence to administrative laws in the higher education environment, using a descriptive-analytical method and using reliable scientific sources. It shows that the implementation of administrative laws in the light of Islamic teachings lays the foundation for the creation of a healthy, service-oriented, efficient, effective, transparent administration that is responsive to the needs of clients, and leads to the formation of an administration free from corruption, fraud, bureaucracy, evasion of responsibility, and lawlessness, which is in line with the goals of Islamic Sharia in achieving social justice and strengthening the foundations of laws and regulations.
